The 1st International Conference on Applied Physics (ICAP 2019) is organized by the Department of Physics (University of Tirana), in collaboration with the Albanian Physical Society in November 20 – 22, 2019, in Tirana, Albania.
The conference is supported by the “Henrietta Leavitt” Foundation – Albanian Foundation for Science, Media and Democracy.
ICAP 2019 aims to gather international scientists and professionals in Tirana in order to discuss the latest developments in multidisciplinary fields related to physics.
The Department of Physics at University of Tirana offers physics degrees at all levels, “Bachelor”, “Masters” and “Doctorate”. The research activities include: Physics Education, Material Science, Archeometry and Archeometallugry, Biophysics, Medical Physics, Environmental Physics, Geomagnetism, Fluid Dynamics, Physics of Complex Systems, Astrophysics, Lattice Field Theory and Particle Physics.
